CLARK FREEPORT, Pampanga, Philippines — A P7-billion commercial leisure complex is soon to rise inside this Freeport by Megaworld Corporation, further enhancing the area’s viability for business.
Megaworld chair and CEO Andrew Tan recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)
with Clark Development Corporation (CDC) chief Felipe Antonio Remollo that will increase the number of investments inside the Clark Freeport.
According to Tan, the company is excited to implement their new project in Clark and is expected to hire more than 30,000 workers once the various projects are completed. He added that the project will complement other existing projects in the Freeport.
Remollo said that this project will include the mixed-use of complex featuring office, commercial, retail, leisure and entertainment (including hotels, casino and gaming facilities), residential and health and wellness components.
All of these, he said, can cater to foreign and local business process outsourcing locators, retirement communities and tourism enterprises.
It will be located in the 550-hectare main Clark Freeport and Clark Special Economic Zone (Sacobia Area) mixed-use complex.
He added that the proposed projects made by Megaworld is bound to enhance the tourism landscape of Clark, making it the main attraction once everything’s afoot.
