According to Jezebel, Mia Farrow is skeptical of North Korean reports depicting citizens sobbing in the streets over the death of the communist country's leader, Kim Jong Il.
Farrow, 66, is known for her political awareness and activism. On Sunday, she expressed doubt over the authenticity of emotions shown in footage of North Korea's mourning citizens.
"N Korea: Ppl sobbing, wailing & thrashing about – as an actor I can say, they would never get hired," she tweeted with a link to footage.
Kim is believed to have been 69 at the time of his death, and is said to have died of a heart attack Saturday due to "overwork" after "dedicating his life to the people."
