'Enteng' tops MMFF's first-day gross


MANILA, Philippines — The Vic Sotto-Ai Ai de las Alas powered starrer “Enteng ng Ina Mo” snatched the top seat of the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) opening day box-office count with P32.8M.
The Star Cinema, M-Zet, APT and Octo Arts film pulled away with a P12.8M lead from second
placer “Ang Panday 2” (Imus Productions and GMA Network) which clocked in P20M at No. 2.
Close behind “Panday” is the Star Cinema/MJM Productions horror “Segunda Mano” (starring Kris Aquino and Dingdong Dantes) with P18.25M while Octo Arts Films’ “My Househusband: Ikaw Na!” earned P17.33M at No. 4.
