MANILA, Philippines – Sen. Bong Revilla and his son, Jolo, are scheduled to fly to the United States soon to consult doctors about migraine.
“Early next year baka pumunta kami sa States, magpapa-check up not only Jolo but me kasi pareho kami ng sakit [na] minana namin sa mommy ko,” Bong was quoted as saying in a report by abs-cbnnews.com on Dec. 1.
Recall that Jolo temporarily took a break from his TV series, “My Binondo Girl,” after being diagnosed with severe migraine mid-October. Initially it was reported that his brain bled, but Bong later on clarified in an interview with PEP that his son’s brain was only swollen “dahil [sa] sobrang migraine niya.”
Jolo resumed work some days later, but was apparently rushed again to the hospital last Wednesday after having another bout of headaches.
The actor-politician continued, “Of course [I am worried], kapag nagma-migraine si Jolo 'yung BP [blood pressure] niya ay tumataas, nag-150 to 170/100. Pero let's pray na nothing serious pero sa tingin ko naman...”
However, he did say that Jolo is now “okay.”
“Pareho kami ng sakit kapag na-overwork na, 'yun migraine [na]. Nothing serious naman. Nakalabas na siya sa ospital,” he told abs-cbnnews.com.
