Marvin Agustin and Angelica Panganiban
MANILA, Philippines – Derek Ramsay’s girlfriend, Angelica Panganiban, was noncommittal about the rumored transfer of her beau to the Kapatid network.
"Of course, hindi naman ako magde-deny na wala akong naririnig na ganoon, di ba?” she told PEP in an article posted on Nov. 30.
Asked if they have discussed the issue, she said, “No, no...palagi ko lang naririnig sa mga pali-paligid niya.”
Medyo inoperahan. Tapos depressed. Hindi ko rin din matanong nang diretsahan."
Derek sustained injury in a Frisbee tournament recently and he had to undergo surgery for his forearm in order to "have metal plates put in."
The actress said she’s ready should her boyfriend decide to jump ship.
The “Banana Split” host pointed out, “And hindi naman kami loveteam.
Angelica said that even though they belong to the same network, they rarely see each other at work "dahil magkaiba yung ginagawa naming trabaho."
She went on to say that "kung totoo man na aalis siya ng ABS, I don't think na makakaapekto yun sa amin.
Unlike Angelica who dodged questions about the transfer, Kapuso actor and businessman Marvin Agustin was straightforward in belying reports about going back to his former home network, ABS-CBN, and negotiating with TV5.
“Kahit na nag-expire na ang contract ko with GMA-7, I am still meeting with them at pinag-uusapan namin ang mga projects na gagawin ko para sa kanila.
"Kapuso pa rin naman tayo,” he highlighted in a separate PEP report.
More, he appealed to his fans to just wait for the outcome of his ongoing talks with the network executives.
Marvin stressed that he hasn’t met up with anyone from other networks yet.
"Hintayin na lang natin kung ano ang mga gagawin ko sa Kapuso network in 2012," said the 32-year-old restaurateur.
“I cannot complain dahil parati akong may trabaho sa GMA-7. Hindi nila ako pinapabayaan."
