Marvin stays with GMA despite new manager

MANILA, Philippines — With Annabel Regalado of Star Records as his new manager, rumors surfaced that Marvin Agustin would soon be leaving GMA-7 to return to his former network ABS-CBN.
However, the 32-year-old actor denied such talk.

“I have no plans to move to another network. I can honestly tell you that I’m still happy here at GMA,” cleared the actor.
Marvin is currently doing “Iglot” for GMA. It is bowing out soon to give way to Christmas-themed shows.
Marvin is busy promoting the horror film, “The Road” opening on Nov. 30.
Helmed by Yam Laranas (“The Echo,” “Sigaw” and “Patient X”), Marvin returns to a genre which gave him an acting award (he won best actor from Metro Manila Film Festival for his role in “Kutob”).
In “The Road,” Marvin plays a wife-killer (his wife is played by Carmina Villaroel, whom he kills because she was abusing their son).
Marvin is not expecting any acting trophy for “The Road.” “Hindi ako award-oriented. I’m more of money-oriented,” he said laughing.
Also in the cast of “The Road” are Rhian Ramos, Barbie Forteza, TJ Trinidad, Alden Richards, Louise delos Reyes, Derrick Monasterio, Lexi Fernandez, Ynna Asistio and Renz Valerio.
