Rocco Nacino and Sheena Halili doesn't engage in 'PDA'
MANILA, Philippines – Rumored lovers Rocco Nacino and Sheena Halili are adamant that they didn’t engage in public display of affection or PDA, as alleged in recent
blind items that were later revealed to be about them.
In separate interviews, Nacino and Halili deem the rumor “shocking” and “hurtful.”
“Nakakaloka naman,” Halili said in a report on GMA News. “Wala kami sa lugar para maging ganun sa isa’t isa.”
Halili then dared the reporter that named them as the party involved in the blind item to face her.
“Pakita ninyo,” she said. “Pakita ninyo kung sino nagsabi niyan. Haharapin ko siya.”
She made light of the situation a few seconds later saying, “Nag-[shoulder] pads pa naman ako ngayon tapos ganyang issue pa ang sasagutin ko? Ano ba naman? Nakaka-shock siya huh.”
She also denied being in a formal relationship with Nacino.
"Wala pa naman," said she in the same interview. "Wala pa dun."
Nacino, on the other hand, felt slighted by what he deemed was a “malicious” implication spurred by the rumor – not for himself but for Halili, whom he considers “special.”
“Kahit pano nakakainit ng dugo. Nasaktan siya eh. Ayoko ng ganun,” said he.
“Wala naman bastusan. ‘Wag na sana silang magsalita ng bagay na ikakagalit ng tao. Lalo na ang taong espesyal sakin ginaganun nila.”
He also claimed that as far as he is concerned, Halili would not engage in a very public smooch fest. “Kilala ng mga tao si Sheena. At hindi siya ganung bababe,” he stressed.
Nacino neither confirmed nor denied in the report that he and Halili are an item—but he admits that they are very "close."
He has no love for the rumormongers that spread the issue, saying, "Karma na lang bahala sa inyo.”
Both Halili and Nacino are products of the talent search "StarStruck" -- Halili from Season 1 and Nacino from Season 5.
The duo first worked with each other in the defunct GMA-7 sitcom "Kaya ng Powers."
Nacino is currently part of "Time of my Life," while Halili is seen on "Amaya." -Manila Bulletin
