BUKIDNON, Philippines – Two persons were killed in a predawn ambush in Malaybalay City here today.
Based on the driver’s license recovered from the crime scene, one of the two victims was identified as Osmund Rey Dalugdog of Matina village in Davao City. His woman companion is still to be identified.
In a report aired over Radyo Bandilyo, the victims were on board a black Honda Civic car when
unidentified gunmen waylaid them near Central Mindanao University campus around 12:45 a.m.
Prior to the incident, several witnesses disclosed that there were two vehicles that were apparently waiting for the victims to pass the area.
Police probers recovered over 50 empty shells of M-16 ammunitions in the crime scene. Police are still conducting investigation on the motive of the killings.
